Decoded VoIP Test Results
1. Latency/Ping
The amount of the time it takes a single packet to be sent from your device to the test server and back. The longer the number, the further you are from the server. VoIP call quality will begin to fail above 200ms.
2. Jitter
Measures consecutive latency results. Large numbers here can indicate network congestion or packet loss. Ideal Jitter results are as close to zero as possible.
3. Download Speed
How many bits per second can be downloaded from your current device to the test server. A single VoIP call takes an average of 86Kbps.
4. Upload Speed
How many bits per second can be uploaded from your current device to the test server. A single VoIP call takes an average of 86Kbps.
