SIP Registration Redundancy

Our SIP Proxy DNS allows you to register quickly by automatically resolving between our multiple SIP Proxy servers. Your DNS server will resolve one of the IP’s available or utilize SRV records to return the IP based on your preferred protocol.

This works well in SIP devices that do not allow you to specify multiple proxies such as softphones, how ever if you use IP phones or an IP-PBX, multiple SIP Proxies and failover trunks are likely available.

This method requires that you first setup 2 Trunks using 2 different SIP Proxies and registering to both. Enable the “Continue if Busy” option.
